The announcement issued by the Sports Association of Glaukos Esperos AOPA states the following:

“The S.A. Glaukou-Esperou AOPA Patras announces the start of its cooperation with Mr Pericles Bazina and welcomes him back to the Family of the Unionas he essentially returns to where he took his first basketball steps.
We wish Pericles to be healthy and to fulfill his individual ambitions, while at the same time helping the Union to realize its goals.

At his first statements as a Union player Pericles said that what convinced him to choose the Union is that “I felt the WANTING of the Team. Both the Management and the coach approached me, explaining to me that there is a wider plan for establishing in bigger categories and they showed me that they want me to carry it out”. Regarding the goals, he said that “the goal is common, for the team to reach as high as possible with me. That’s why, following all, I came here, to make the vision a reality together”.

The one born on the 20^the November 2000in Patra, Pericles Bazinas he is 1.98 tall and plays as a combo guard. Basketball started in the academies of the Union’s parent association, In the evening AOPA and continued to Apollo of Patraswhere he remained until his beginnings 2022, competing with the Club’s Children, Teenagers, Youth (Apollonia) and Men’s teams. The seasons 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 competed with Apollon in the A2΄ National League, winning the title and promotion to the Basket League in 2021while he completed 8 participations in the Basket League (1 2015-16the 5th 2016-17 and 2 the 2021-22).

At the same time, he was international in the small Nationals participating with the Children’s National Team in the Pan-European Children’s Championship (U16) in 2016 in Poland and with the National Youth Team (U19) in the World Youth Championship 2019 in Heraklion.

At his beginings 2022 went to A.O. Agriniou, where he competed during the seasons 2021-22 (10.7 p., 2.3 r. and 1.9 as.) and 2022-23 (6.9 p., 2.2 r. and 0.8 a.s.) in A2΄ Ethniki.

The previous season 2023-24 he competed with Panerythraikos in the Elite League (A2′ National), where in 27 games he had 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists, winning with the Nea Erythraia team on 12^the position to reach the stay through the play outs”.
