At a “Power Night” for all business people in the district, the Perg District Economic Association not only presented important impulses for regional companies at the Jägerwirt inn in Au, but also re-elected its board of directors.
The long-time district chairman, Wolfgang “WiWo” Wimmer, said goodbye to the leadership of the business association that evening. For his extraordinary commitment and his outstanding work in the Perg District Economic Association, Commercial Councilor Wimmer was not only thanked with a standing ovation from business people. Wolfgang Greil, director of the Upper Austrian Economic Association, also brought “thanks and recognition” with him in the form of a certificate and medal. In his review of his time in office, Wimmer emphasized the importance of a seamless transition in leadership, because: “If you don’t move with the times, you move with the times.”
Eveline Grabmann was unanimously elected as the new business association chairwoman in the Perg district. The new chairwoman’s deputies are Hubert Schlager and Gottfried Masilko. Elisabeth Medel from Schwertberg is also new to the board. Wolfgang Wimmer will remain on the board.
Eveline Grabmann, managing director of Bauservice Grabmann in Arbing, not only wants to be the mouthpiece for the business community in the district in her role, but also wants to actively take on and shape responsibility: “With more than 1,000 members, we are an extremely strong and large network.” It is planning initiatives in the areas of local supply, purchasing power and personnel recruitment.
At the turn of the year, Eveline Grabmann will also take on the position of chairwoman of the Perg Chamber of Commerce.
