Mexican Sergio Perez, Red Bull driver, took pole position at the Saudi Grand Prix in the Formula One World Championship on Saturday.
Perez beat Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Spaniard Carlos Sainz, while his colleague Max Verstappen, the world champion, came fourth.
And qualifying saw a huge surprise when Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton failed to get through the first period of practice for the first time since the 2017 Brazilian Grand Prix.
