On this occasion, an inauguration ceremony of the new organic olive oil production unit “Harimella Olive Oil Company” was held recently in Hammamet, to express the group’s commitment and willingness to diversify its investments. in Tunisia, to encourage local agriculture and help create jobs in the regions.

This ceremony, which brought together government representatives, local farmers and business partners, was also an opportunity to highlight the company’s commitment to Tunisia and to strengthen its links with local stakeholders.

A 5,000-foot olive grove on the production sites

In this perspective, and to ensure a lasting economic impact on the communities neighboring its areas of intervention, “Perenco” initially plans to plant a 5,000-foot olive grove on the production sites (Matmata, Douz, El Faouar and Kerkennah). The objective for the oil company is to plant and maintain 20,000 vines over the next three years.
