Pepe Aguilar confirms the wedding of singers Christian Nodal and Angela Aguilar

Mexico City, Jul 25 (EFE).- Popular Mexican singers Christian Nodal and Angela Aguilar tied the knot on Wednesday, according to photos shared Thursday by the bride’s father, Pepe Aguilar.

“Whether you see it or not, today you begin a new and very different path from any of those you have walked before. One where respect and responsibility will be your strongest guide. Even as important as love,” was the text that accompanied the photographs that Aguilar shared on her official Instagram account.

According to the location of the photos, the wedding took place at Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas, in the central Mexican state of Morelos, and where, according to some media, some 45 guests attended, including Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony and his wife Nadia Ferreira.

The wedding takes place just a few months after Nodal, 25, and Aguilar, 20, made their relationship official and just a few months after the Mexican singer’s separation from Argentine singer Cazzu.

In the message, Pepe Aguilar assures the newlyweds that their future depends only on themselves: “I have been in your place too. There is no simple beginning.”

The images thus became the first to officially appear about the young singers’ wedding, since in the last few hours all that had been seen about the wedding were leaks that had appeared on social media.

The bride’s father, son of the legendary Antonio Aguilar, also spoke briefly about the harassment the young people have suffered from the public and the media due to their controversial relationship.

“Even though there are fears about such a momentous and, in this case, public decision, even though they are young and in a learning stage of their lives, everything is possible,” he said.

Finally, she said that she hopes that the love between the two singers is “one of those that is worth it, one of those that makes sense,” reiterating that they must take care of their marriage with responsibility and respect.

Nodal and Aguilar announced their relationship last June, and rumors about a possible engagement were already circulating on social media after his trip to Europe, a few weeks after the interpreter’s breakup with Cazzu, an Argentine singer with whom he was from 2022 to May 2024 and with whom he has his 10-month-old daughter Inti.
