Vienna (OTS) – “Congratulations to the Hessian CDU on their clear victory in today’s state elections. In Hesse, our sister party has a long tradition of political responsibility and has always worked as a center force for the well-being of the citizens. This election victory is confirmation of the excellent work that the CDU has done over the years. Prime Minister Boris Rhein proved himself competent, committed and close to the people during the election campaign. His messages and political ideas have been well received by the Hessians and are once once more proof that a policy of the center and for the many is approved by the voters at the end of the day,” congratulates Chancellor and federal party chairman Karl Nehammer of the CDU Hesse and Prime Minister Boris Rhein on today’s election success.

“Our friends in Hesse prove every day that Christian-social politics is exactly the right compass in difficult times. The Hessians have therefore sent a clear signal towards Berlin and have clearly rejected the left-wing traffic light dreams. Congratulations to the CDU and Boris Rhein. From a civic perspective, the two elections in Bavaria and Hesse produced excellent results,” said the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker.
