Former lawmaker Lee Hye-hoon defeated lawmaker Ha Tae-kyung in the runoff election for the People Power Party’s Jungseong-dong, Seoul, which attracted attention as a confrontation between leading politicians, and advanced to the finals. Ha by 0.71 percentage points.

In Gyeonggi-do, former Ansan member Seo Jeong-hyeon won as the party council chairman in Ansan-eul, Gyeonggi-do, Daejin University professor Seok-hwan Jang won in Goyang-eul, Gyeonggi-do, and former Paju-eul party council chairman Han Gil-ryong won in Paju-eul, Gyeonggi-do.
