From the “ASUS Chromebook CX1” series, which has entry-class to standard models in Japan, the standard model “ASUS Chromebook CX1 (CX1102)” equipped with Pentium Silver N6000, which is close to high spec, has been added to the overseas lineup.
Since the specifications etc. have been released on the overseas official website, I will briefly summarize them below.

Until now, many 11.6-inch devices such as Celeron have been released, but the “ASUS Chromebook CX1 (CX1102)” is a rare model equipped with a Pentium Silver N6000 that is close to the top. The 11.6-inch display is a TN liquid crystal (wide viewing angle is unknown), non-glare, non-touch screen and clamshell type.
Looking at the specs, it has a maximum of 8GBRAM, two USB-C and two A ports, MIL-STD 810H compliant robustness, and there is also a Chrome Enterprise Update compatible model, so it is suitable for business use where a certain level of performance is desired. It seems that the use is also in view.
I’m also curious regarding the price, but there was no big announcement, it was just added to the lineup, and the dealer and price are unknown. Also, since there is no announcement in Japan, I do not know whether it will be introduced in the future.
