The first drive ended with a 2-yard touchdown run from King Dourue, and the second concluded with the player who has dominated this game as Charlie Jones caught a 7-yard touchdown pass late in the quarter, giving him more than 100 yards in his debut with the Boilermakers. What’s worrisome for Penn State is quarterback Sean Clifford missed the team’s first possession of the second half due to injury (likely a knee, no official word). Though he’s since returned to the game, he does not look 100%, and the Penn State offense seems out of sync with one quarter left to play.
