PELITA Jaya Jakarta won the 2024 IBL championship after losing in three finals in 2021 to 2023, by defeating Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta 73-65 in Game 3 of the 2024 IBL Final, which was held at the Indomilk Arena Tangerang Banten, Sunday (4/8).

The match to determine the 2024 IBL championship title took place with both teams attacking each other in each quarter.
In the first quarter, Satria Muda dominated by leading by 8 points with a score that ended 15-23 at the end of the first quarter.
However, in the second quarter, Pelita Jaya went on a rampage by making a 23-3 point run.
Pelita Jaya, who played aggressively and hard on the defensive side, managed to make a team like Satria Muda only able to score 3 points in one quarter.

It took more than 9 minutes for Satria Muda to score a point in Pelita Jaya’s basket. The score ended with Pelita Jaya turning the tables 38-26 at halftime.
In the third quarter, it was Satria Muda’s turn to heat up again and take the lead with 22 points, while the home team was held to only 16 points.
However, Pelita Jaya was still six points ahead with a score of 54-48 at the end of the third quarter.

In the final quarter, both teams played tightly with each team only scoring 7 points until halfway through the fourth quarter.
Satria Muda managed to catch up until the score was tied at 61-61 with 2 minutes and 12 seconds remaining, but Pelita Jaya pulled away again until the final score was 73-65, making Pelita Jaya the 2024 IBL champion.
Jerome Anthony Beane Jr. along with Muhamad Arighi became key players in Pelita Jaya’s revival in the second quarter. Beane Jr. stole the ball with his speed and Arighi with a three-pointer.

In total, Beane Jr, who is a naturalized player for the Indonesian National Team, stole 6 balls from Satria Muda. He led with 23 points with 18 points made from three-point shots.
Arighi scored 13 points with three of them coming from long range.
KJ McDaniels helped Pelita Jaya get away from Satria Muda’s pursuit at the end of the match by scoring 13 points.
Indonesian National Team player of Indonesian-Dutch descent Brandon Jawato also played an important role in defense as well as organizing attacks.
Jawato contributed 7 rebounds and 5 assists, despite only scoring 2 points throughout the match.
From Satria Muda, Reynaldo Garcia Zamora led by scoring 18 points, Abraham Damar Grahita 15 points, all of which were scored from
