Today we have avoided it, but before us we have a timeless threat, which highlights the enormous responsibilities of Governments – the current one and the previous ones – and a system that only cares regarding the profits of the few.
At the moment when we are “burning” the government is “burning” on how to “stuff” the war industry with money, leaving us defenseless, to defend the interests of the few.
Indeed, following so many disasters that our people have experienced in recent years, grieving victims, the competent Services, both the Fire Brigade and Civil Protection, remain underfunded and understaffed.
All together, we can claim and achieve the immediate safe reopening of Karamandanei and all institutions, as well as finally taking all the necessary measures for comprehensive fire protection, with the sole responsibility of the state.
