Ana PeleteiroOlympic bronze medalist in triple jump, i Nobility Mechal, European champion in the 3,000 meters in 2017, lead the Spanish team that will participate in Belgrade in the Indoor Athletics World Championships, from the 18th to the 20th of this month.
The team, of 25 members (13 women and 12 men), includes 13 current champions of Spain and seven national record holders. The Spanish Federation has requested a World Athletics the inclusion of the two 4×400 meter relays. If their participation is confirmed, it will be the third time in history that they will both go to an Indoor World Cup.
