Many Upper Austrian companies are characterized by special ideas, outstanding economic instinct and resilience in times of crisis. The best of them will be awarded the Pegasus once more this year.
The building materials dealer Berner from Braunau am Inn, for example, applied. The company that entered the “Success Story” category sells fasteners, tools and technical chemical products. The logistics center in Braunau is the hub for the Southeastern Europe region.
Alpine Metal Tech from Regau has applied to be the “Innovation Emperor”: The company has developed new products for the steel industry in order to automate work steps and make them safer. A new measuring machine reduces waste in the production of aluminum wheels. Domestic companies can submit until April 5th at /pegasus2024. This is also possible in the categories “Lighthouses”, “Hopes for the Future” and “Entrepreneur/Manager of the Year”.

The business prize is awarded for the 31st time by OÖNachrichten and its partners (Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich, KPMG, Chamber of Commerce, Association of Industrialists and State of Upper Austria). The winners will be honored at the Business Gala Night in Linz’s Brucknerhaus on June 3rd. All applicants are warmly invited.
