A factory manager raped a 15-year-old worker. In the complaint filed by the girl’s father, it is stated that following the torture, he tried to kill her and drank acid. The girl is in critical condition. Deputy Commissioner Sameer Sharma said that the accused factory manager Jaiprakash was arrested.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the search for Jaiprakash’s wife, who had connived at the torture, has been intensified. Jaiprakash brought the minor girl to his house on July 2, mistaking that his wife was unwell and needed help. The girl was not suspicious as she knew Jaiprakash’s wife.
After reaching home, he grabbed the girl and tortured her. Jaiprakash’s wife was also in the room at that time. Police said that Jaiprakash stopped the girl on the road on July 5, abused her and forced her to drink acid. After reaching home, the girl became unconscious.
The dying girl was admitted to AIIMS. The police tried several times to get the statement of the girl, who is in critical condition, but might not. Following the intervention of the Delhi Commission for Women, the girl’s statement was recorded yesterday in the presence of volunteers.
