A report presented by Panorama revealed that sanctioned companies have obtained a contract with the Municipality of Anguía, in Cajamarca, for the construction of a highway that begins near the house of the President of the Republic, peter castle.

The work called “improvement of the local road La Palma-Conchán-La Legua-Chugur-Anguía-Rodeopampa-Guineamayo (…) section 1” was awarded to the MDJH Consortium by the mayor of Anguía, Jose Nenil Medina Guerreroto whom an investigation was recently opened for alleged criminal organization.

One of the companies within this consortium is Ibervial S.A.which has to its credit a penalty for failure to meet the deadline in 2017, a temporary sanction for termination of the contract in 2010 and a temporary sanction for report inaccurate information in 2020. In addition, it registers a coercive debt of almost S / 6 million.

The other company is Parasol Consulting Groupwhich barely had four previous contracts and won this one with the State.

The report also mentioned that the companies win by direct adjudication, since there was no tender. The direct contracting was made by Medina Guerrero.

As is recalled, the mayor of Anguía was included, at the end of July, in an investigation by the Special Team of the Prosecutor’s Office once morest Corruption in Power by the alleged crime of criminal organization.
