Alejandro Muñante, member of the Legislative Board of Directorswho stated that said topic had not been addressed at the meeting.
According to Salas, the new holder of the Congress he would not have expressed an opinion that would reveal any intention of debating a vacancy or a hypothetical early election. This, despite the fact that previously Williams, a member of the Avanza País bench, had voted in favor of the departure of Pedro Castillo on the occasions in which the vacancy was discussed in the hemicycle.
“We do not notice as ministers no type of decision on the part of the president of the Congress of the Republic, to have on the agenda or an advance of elections, with the issue of everyone leaving, and less a presidential vacancy, “said the government spokesman.
Likewise, Minister Salas pointed out the need to “respect the democratic times, by which the powers of the State have been elected, both the Congress and the Executive”, this in reference to the discrepancies and tensions that have characterized the relationship between both powers of the State during the administration of Pedro Castillo.
Conciliation between Executive and Legislative

“The agreement that has been reached is that both the secretary general of the Government Palace and the senior official of Congress meet, make a technical table, to be able to cross this information and give priority to the most relevant for both powers of the State, in terms of regulations and bills that the Executive has presented, “said the minister.
