Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 RACER Pedro Acosta was satisfied with the speed of his motorbike even though he still failed to win at the 2024 Indonesian GP at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Sunday (29/9).
In Mandalika, the MotoGP debutant won 24 points after finishing sixth in the Sprint and finishing second in the main race.
This was his fourth podium in the highest class and was the second second place podium after being in the United States last April.

“We were quite strong all weekend, even showing that we were able to go fast in one lap, which is usually our weakest point,” said the 20-year-old racer as quoted by Between.
The impressive results in Mandalika made him enter the top five in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 181 points, shifting KTM factory racer Brad Binder to sixth position with 173 points.
Looking at the remaining five series, with the closest at the Motegi Circuit, Japan this weekend, Acosta hopes to find consistency.
“Now we find good consistency in the top five,” Acosta said. (Z-6)
