Pedophile died after drinking a mysterious liquid in court: he was just convicted of abusing a minor | Society

The subject drank a strange liquid while listening to his sentence. It is not ruled out that he was a suicide.

International media publicized the case of Edward LeClair, pedophile who died on August 11 in a court in the United States, just when he was going to be sentenced for having sexually abused a minor.

According to what the New York Post confirmed, the defendant was listening to the sentence reading when, suddenly, he drank a liquid from a plastic container.

LeClair was charged with five counts of rape and sexual abuse of minors. Despite the seriousness of the events, he had remained on probation in the city of Denton, in the state of Texas.

According to the versions of witnesses, the strangest thing regarding the event was the subject had remained calm until before the verdict was read. However, upon listening to the judge he began to drink the liquid.

Likewise, those who observed the moment indicated that it was a bottle of water, but its content at first glance was cloudy.

“It wasn’t like I was just taking sips of water. I was literally desperate drinking the liquid, so to speak.” prosecutor Jamie Beck said.

Pedophile died in hospital

For his part, the defense attorney, Mike Howard, argued that his client was taken to a cell while the ruling was being read in court.

Over there the pedophile vomited repeatedly and finally became unconscious. After a few minutes he was transferred to a health center called Denton Regional Medical Center.

There following two hours he died, without the health teams being able to do much to save his life.

So far his cause of death is determined as “pending”, pending body studies. The thesis of suicide is not ruled out.
