Peanuts for Christmas – Liberation

Classic caution. Cartoon Christmas Episode Soundtrack Peanuts in 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas is considered the second most popular jazz record in history following the Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. Sold to more than 5 million copies since its release, it is still today inseparable from the American Christmas celebrations, these adventures of Snoopy and his friends being broadcast annually on television. Reissued countless times since 1965 in the most diverse formats, this work by pianist Vince Guaraldi, mixing jazz and traditional songs, is now experiencing an edition that we imagine to be definitive. From eleven tracks, the album goes to 80 tracks (including 58 unreleased alternative takes) on four CDs and an audio Blu-ray, and has three different mixes (original stereo, 2022 stereo mix and Dolby Atmos mix). Enough to satisfy the millions of worshipers of these jazz piano classics, which have made the theme of Linus and Lucy the unofficial credits of Peanuts.
