PDVSA carries out medical care day in “El Palito” Carabobo state

At the facilities of the “El Palito” oil refinery, located in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, the Health Management of Petróleos de Venezuela Central Region, carried out a medical care day to comprehensively care for 361 patients, including active and retired personnel and their relatives.

This activity is framed in the Comprehensive Care Plan, which aims to serve more than 1,600 retirees from the national oil industry in the central region.

During the day, patients were treated in specialized consultations of: dentistry, ophthalmology, general medicine, internal medicine, traumatology, endocrinology, gynecology, general surgery and physiotherapy.

In the same way, services were offered: family planning, pharmacy, deworming, immunization, blood pressure control, laboratory and road medical certificate.

Also, it was learned that during the day 1,291 cares were registered and 1,140 medicines for different pathologies were delivered, and they had the support of the INSALUD Carabobo team and the Puerto Cabello Port ASIC for the execution of this important activity.

The purpose of this conference is to provide comprehensive services to the entire working class, but especially to retirees and their families, who have been affected by the economic war and the sanctions of the empire once morest the people.
