The Investigative Police arrested the alleged perpetrator of three violent assaults in downtown Santiago and the crime of an accountant, on Tuesday night, a few meters from La Moneda Palace.
The Investigative Police (PDI) reported that he arrested this followingnoon a suspect of participating in a robbery with homicide and three other robberies in the Alameda de Santiago Centro, during the last days.
According to PDIthe Homicide Brigade arrested a subject this Friday for his alleged responsibility in the robbery with homicide and triple robbery with violence and a sharp weapon of pedestrians who were circulating in Alameda, Santiago, which occurred on July 26 and 28.
According to information provided by the civil police,The detainee would be a subject of Venezuelan nationality, who entered Chile through an unauthorized passage and was in an irregular migratory situation.

Homicide and assaults in the Alameda
The events under investigation occurred between Tuesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 28. The homicide occurred on Tuesday night, when a 56-year-old man was found dying around midnight by drivers who were traveling in the sector.
One of them called Radio Bío Bío to warn that the man was dying in the street and that despite calling the emergency services he was not attended to, in addition to denouncing that they notified the Carabineros and that they did not respond to the calls.
After a few minutes, and In the middle of the broadcast of Radiograma Nocturno, the passer-by who called the Radio reported the death of the victim on public roads while waiting for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the three robberies for which he was also arrested occurred between the night of Wednesday the 27th and the early hours of Thursday the 28th, when the suspect would have attacked the three victims in different sectors of the Alameda.
According to police information, the first event occurred in Alameda at the height of Cerro Santa Lucía, where a person was tackled and stabbed.
Minutes later, almost on the corner of Portugal and in front of the Catholic University, a pedestrian was approached under the same modus operandi, where he ended up stabbed.
Finally, a third person was injured with a sharp weapon on the front of the main house of the University of Chile.
In these four crimes, the person detained by the Homicide Brigade would be implicated, which will go to detention control during this day.
