South Korean actor Ding Zhongzhi (정중지) once participated in the second season of Mnet’s talent show “PRODUCE101”, and later participated in many works as an actor. Unexpectedly, news of his suicide came out on the 22nd, at the age of 30.

According to Korean media reports, Ding Chongzhi’s mother announced the news of his death through a Twitter account called “Goodbye Son” on the 20th, attaching a photo of her son’s posthumous photo and writing “I am Ding Chongzhi’s mother, son Chongzhi Words cannot describe how I feel now that I have ended my own life.” The funeral ceremony was held on the morning of the 21st. Ding Chongzhi’s mother did not explain the exact reason for his suicide.

Previously, Ding Zhongzhi participated in the second season of the Mnet talent show “PRODUCE101” in 2017. Before appearing on the show, he gained popularity on social networking sites with his handsome appearance, and was called a “boyfriend photo” maker. He was eliminated in the first half of the show, but he still worked hard as an actor and starred in the dramas “Prison” and “The Law of Love”.
