PCB’s decision to take online test for women players as well

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to take online test for women players as well.

Fitness tests for women players will be conducted through video link and will continue till May 20.

Earlier, PCB also conducted online tests for male cricketers. The cricketers were given push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, chin-ups and the cricketers were also given standing broad jump, reverse plank and yoyo tests.

The fitness tests of Haris Sohail, Muhammad Abbas, Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed have been completed in the first phase, while the fitness tests of Shan Masood, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim have been completed in the second phase.

The online test conducted by PCB consisted of phases which included Babar Azam, Azhar Ali, Imamul Haq, Fakhr Zaman, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Shinwari and Wabab Riaz.

Apart from this, the fitness tests of Haris Sohail, Muhammad Abbas, Asad Shafiq and Sarfaraz Ahmed were completed in the first phase, while the fitness tests of Shan Masood, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim were completed in the second phase.

Pakistan Cricket Board also organized online lectures for male and female cricketers in which the players were taught various techniques.

In the online lectures, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Mohammad Yousuf, Younis Khan, Moeen Khan and Rashid Latif shared their experiences with the players of the national cricket team and imparted them with useful technical skills.

The male and female athletes expressed their satisfaction with the effectiveness of the online lectures, saying that they got a chance to learn a lot and are proud that even during the lockdown, no time was wasted. The players also thanked PCB for organizing online lectures.
