The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 15-member squad for the first ODI against Zimbabwe.
Due to Shadab Khan’s injury, Usman Qadir has been included in the squad. Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhr Zaman, Khushdil Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Wahab Riaz and Haris Rauf are also part of the squad.
Babar Azam will captain the team against Zimbabwe. Abed Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Muhammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Amadoseem, Usman Qadir, Shaheen Afridi and Musa Khan are also included in the squad.
Babar Azam said in a short talk that the players are fully fit and the morale of the team is also high. Will try to play well against Zimbabwe. We cannot take any team easy.
A 20-member squad was announced under the leadership of Babar Azam for the ODI and T20 series against Zimbabwe.
Abdullah Shafiq, Abid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imamul Haq, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Hafeez, Muhammad Rizwan, Musa Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Rohail Nazir, Usman Qadir, Wahab Riaz, Faheem Ashraf, Muhammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim and Zafar Gohar are also included in this squad.
The first ODI will be played between the two teams on October 30, the second on November 1 and the third on November 3.
The Zimbabwean team will leave for Lahore on November 4. The first T20 match will be played on November 7, the second on November 8 and the third on November 10 in Lahore.
