Marcos jr. emphasized the crucial role of collaboration among government officials during a recent address to Visayas governors and “One Cebu” officials at the Cebu Provincial Capitol. Speaking on January 30, 2025, he stressed that while political differences are inevitable, the shared commitment to national progress must unite them.
“Our effectivity as elected public officials is defined by how we remain true to our mandate to serve, to lead, and empower our fellow Filipinos,” President Marcos stated.He urged his fellow officials not to let distractions hinder their progress, emphasizing that “Our people cannot afford to wait.”

My experience in eastern Visayas shows that when we set aside petty differences and focus on collaborative solutions, the benefits are undeniable.”

“Infrastructure development remains a top priority. We need continued investment in roads, bridges, and ports to connect our provinces, facilitate trade, and stimulate economic growth. I believe strong partnerships with the private sector are essential for driving innovation and creating lasting development.”
