PB Djarum to Hold General Auditions Again in September – 2024-08-07 06:55:01

PB Djarum is ready to hold the 2024 PB Djarum General Audition on September 10-14 at the Djarum Sports Hall, Jati, Kudus, Central Java.

Quoted from the official statement from PB Djarum, Wednesday (7/8), the process of searching for potential badminton players was held again in order to revive the glory of Indonesian badminton on the world stage.

“The General Audition is not only a routine to find seeds that can become regeneration for PB Djarum, but also a movement to protect the eyes of

“For that reason, in every General Audition, we try to find super quality young badminton players who we will hone with the hope that they can become champions at the highest level, namely World and Olympic Champions,” he added.

He continued, in order to achieve this big goal, PB Djarum does not only focus on finding quality seeds through General Auditions, but also provides opportunities for these young athletes to test their abilities in various competitions ranging from regional, national, to international levels.

In the near future, PB Djarum will send its young athletes to compete in the Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships 2024 in Chengdu, China.

“We routinely send athletes to compete in various tournaments, including at the international level, so that they know how tight the competition is and the abilities of international athletes,” said Yoppy.

This year’s PB Djarum audition targets three Age Categories (KU), namely U-11, KU11, and KU12 for both boys and girls.

They come from various parts of Indonesia such as Aceh, Bali, Bangka Belitung, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara to Papua. The largest number of registrants comes from Central Java with 452 athletes.
