The PB Djarum General AUDITIONS held at the Djarum Jati Sports Hall will continue until Saturday (14/9). Until Friday (13/9), there were around 300 participants who were able to survive.
Djarum Foundation’s Bakti Olahraga Program Director Yoppy Rosimin said that his party did not have a definite figure regarding the number of participants who would receive the Djarum Badminton Scholarship.
“What will be taken depends on the quality. If the quality is good, there will be many. If the quality is not good, yes, but there will definitely be some who will be taken. If the quality is like Kevin (Sanjaya Sukamuljo), there is no limit,” said Yoppy at the Djarun Jati Sports Hall.
However, Yoppy emphasized that his party also did not want to appear to be selling or recruiting in large numbers. Especially if there are not too many choices. “Surely if there is a super quality one, we will take it,” said Yoppy.
Next, after getting selected participants, scholarship recipients will undergo quarantine. The prospective champions will receive training and their nutritional intake will also be monitored. It is hoped that in the first year, the quality of the scholarship recipients will have skyrocketed. (Z-6)
