New information regarding the game Payday 3 appeared on the internet this Tuesday (4). Now, a gameplay of almost 20 minutes has been leaked on YouTube and showed a little more of how the gameplay of the title will be, which should be released on September 21st.
The video is uncut and appears to be from a creator in Vietnam. The content was taken down shortly followingwards, but before that, users downloaded the content to make it available on other platforms for those interested in the game.
In this unofficial preview, it was possible to observe that the title is a game very similar to Payday 2, with visuals, user interface and several other updates and improvements. We also got to see some of the new hostage features in action.
In recent days, Payday 3 developers have said that the game will have a Hollywood movie atmosphere, which wasn’t seen much in this leaked gameplay. However, it is unknown which development version was used by players.

Payday 3 is due out for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X on September 21st. It will feature cross-progression and cross-play functionality across all platforms. Plus, Game Pass subscribers will see it in their libraries on day one.

Whistleblower Aggiornamenti Lumia, a dataminer known for getting important information on Xbox and Windows store listings before they go public, has revealed that Payday 3 will be released in September 21st.

It is possible that the Payday 3 release date will be confirmed soon during Summer Game Fest, probably at the kick-off show next Thursday (08). Developed by Starbreeze Studios, the game will be officially published by Plaion’s Prime Matter later this year for Xbox, PlayStation and PC consoles.
Set in modern New York, the cooperative heist game will see the original gang of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains come out of retirement and face a completely technological world, bringing completely new dynamics.
Studio Starbreeze has revealed that giant software companies, cryptocurrencies, mass surveillance and the dark web will be present in the game, with the dynamics of technology reflected in the equipment used by the gang in the robberies.
In January 2023, the company revealed that Payday 2 had sold over 40 million copies and had become Steam’s largest community, accounting for over 8 million players since its launch in 2013.

At the beginning of the yearStarbreeze Studios released the first teaser for the upcoming Payday 3 and confirmed that the game would be released this year.
This week, the game received a new teaser in preparation for the gameplay release, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen when the gameplay trailer will be revealed for sure, but there are some big events confirmed for the coming weeks, including Gamescom Opening Night Live, Summer Games Fest, a new PlayStation showcase, an Xbox showcase and more. The game can appear in any of these events, and of course, it can also be revealed in an event of its own.
Payday 3 is in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. The game is still slated for release later this year, presumably in the last quarter.

Payday 3 gets teaser and has confirmed launch for 2023
The Overkill Software studio posted a teaser trailer and logo for Payday 3 on its official YouTube channel. The game had been confirmed in 2020, but had not received any news since then.
Along with the video, the company also published the game’s page on Steam, which can now be added to the wish list, indicating that new information should emerge soon.

Although the Payday trilogy started in 2011 to lukewarm reviews, Payday 2 was extremely popular and has become one of the best cooperative shooters of recent years, mainly due to its long support and expansions.
