In 2006 he returned to Austria and worked at ATV as program director and later as managing director. From 2018 he was responsible for the expansion of entertainment at ServusTV, where he established the ratings success “Quizjagd” in the evening program of the private channel. “I’m really looking forward to my job at ORF and being able to contribute the experience I’ve gained over the past few years,” said Gastinger.

Lisa Zuckerstätter will take over the “Humanitarian Broadcasting” department for an unlimited period. Previously she was interim manager. Anita Malli takes over the management of the function group “Environment and Sustainability”.
