Incredible: Paulo Autuori was regarding to leave an interview on the air in the renowned program ‘The Vbar’ of Radius Snail. The coach of Atlético Nacional got so angry that he argued with a journalist regarding a question, and almost hung up the phone.
The incident, which became an anecdote, but which at the time filled journalists with anguish, including director Diego Rueda, occurred because of a single word, in the question Eugenio Baena asked him.
“Aren’t you going to take Pedro Sarmiento and Piscis Restrepo into account? Are you going to work with your crew, with your people?” asked Baena, which made Autuori explode.
“What question did you ask me? What do you mean by gang?” Autuori asked. The panelists explained that it was his work group, but it was not enough for the Brazilian coach.
“This is much better understood. Look, we end the interview here, I am speaking respectfully with you”, said Paulo Autuori. Fortunately, the interview continued, and he did not drop the call.
