This Wednesday, Paulina Cocina made a statement on social networks following receiving attacks, threats and hate messages for expressing her political position. The influencer assured that she will vote for Sergio Massa in the runoff and explained why she will never support Javier Milei or any other candidate who looks like him.
Through her Instagram stories, Paulina said that she had decided to delete a post she had shared from another account due to the amount of hate she received from users. “It was very big,” she said at the beginning of a forceful writing.
“Guys, those of us who have large accounts often choose not to speak, not because of ‘the followers’ or ‘the exchanges’, but because the violence that circulates is very, very harsh,” he said.
And then he expressed: “I know that many don’t like me talking regarding politics on this account, but sometimes it bothers me, there’s nothing wrong with it. I don’t like to underestimate them. “I don’t think they are enemies or fools if they don’t vote like me.”
At the end of the message, the cook acknowledged that she is aware of the difficult situation that the country is going through and that everyone is free to choose who they want to vote for, but she acknowledged that she will not do so for a presidential candidate who “publicly defends the dictatorship” and that “believes that climate change does not exist.”
“On Sunday I am going to vote for Massa. “I have a thousand reasons, my two most important: I do not and will not support those who publicly defend the dictatorship, and (one that is little talked regarding) I am very concerned regarding having a president who believes that climate change does not exist,” he said.
Finally he added: “There is nothing wrong with saying this, it is nothing tremendous, it is the position of many people and mine. It is valid not to share it, it is valid to have it. It is not valid for them to come and rush me by direct message.”
