Paula Renea Jackson, Dedicated Caregiver and Loving Mother, Passes Away at 31
Paula Renea Jackson, 31, a dedicated caregiver and devoted mother, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Paula, born on December 14, 1993, in Ronceverte, brought warmth and kindness to all she met. She was a daughter of Paul Edward Jackson and Pearl Kathryn Miller Jackson and held her Presbyterian faith dear to her heart.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Ronceverte, Paula exemplified compassion and dedication in her work.
“She was a hard worker, and her patients loved her,” remarked those who knew her. Paula’s commitment to providing excellent care for her residents extended beyond her duties; she genuinely cared for them, and they, in turn, loved her deeply, along with their families.
Beyond her professional life, Paula’s greatest joy came from being a mother. She poured her heart and soul into raising her children, Emily Jackson, Ella Jackson-Reed, and Braxton Blankenship.
“She always put her children first and went above and beyond to make sure that their needs were met,” remembered those closest to her. Paula diligently chauffeured her daughters to 4-H meetings and events, and she ensured her two youngest received regular doctor appointments in Morgantown, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to their wellbeing.
Paula’s life was tragically cut short, and she will be deeply missed by her children, parents, fiancé Brandon Blankenship of Alderson, brother Patrick Jackson of Frankford, and countless others whose lives she touched. Sadly, Paula was preceded in death by her son, Remington Jackson-Reed.
A visitation to celebrate Paula’s life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at Clifton Presbyterian Church in Maxwelton. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday, December 7, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Stephen Baldwin and Pastor Freddie Bostic officiating. Following the service, Paula will be laid to rest at the Henning Church of God Cemetery on Vago Road.
