After his 70th birthday, Paul might hardly do without the device. Since he was 74 years old, he did not sit in his chair, and in 2022 he entered the Guinness Book of Records. Alexander is the person who lived the longest with an “iron lung”.

On Monday, March 11, the man died at the age of 78. Paul Alexander outlived both his parents and a brother.
