Thrissur: Relatives complain that the death of a young woman in Attupuram was due to mental torture by her husband. Police have registered a case once morest her husband. Firuz, a native of Attupuram, Thrissur, was found hanging in the bedroom of his house.

Due to her husband’s harassment, Firuz’s parents brought her to a house by the river. After this, he was constantly threatened over the phone. The phone conversations were handed over to the police as evidence. Jafar also complained that he was not ready to protect Firuz and the baby following giving birth. The baby girl is now in the care of Firuz’s sister. The locals demanded that Jafar be deported from abroad and imprisoned.
