In an unrepeatable all-day spree where all the traditional, authentic and satirical features of the Carnival will be highlighted, the Patrinoi will coordinate on Chiknoemptis, March 7, feasting with their souls and honoring the established holiday.
KEDIP-Patras Carnival invites everyone to participate in the all-day feast, which will stir up and disturb Upper and Lower Town, morning and night.

From 11am to 2pm, the Sourloulou street band will spread the fun with music and dance in the main streets of the city.

From 7 in the followingnoon to 9 in the evening, the cultural associations of Aro, Gerokomeio, Agiya, Zavlani, Terpsi, Saravali, the Pan-Asian Association of Patras and Surroundings, the Achaic Workshop are taking action in the Upper Town (from Tabachana to Agios Georgios Square) , the Women’s Association of Agios Vasilios “The Team”, the Dance Department of the Municipality of Patreon and the cultural association “Gaitanaki – Bourani” of Tyrnavos which will revive traditional customs adapted to the conditions of the day and will perform the wedding of the groom and the bride in a event, curated by the theater group of the Zavlani Cultural Association.

Finally, everyone together will head to the central square of our Carnival, to George I square where the cultural club “Gaitanaki-Bourani” of Tyrnavos will present a 20-minute show and then the revelry will culminate with the big open concert of Banda Entopica, which unites clarinet, saxophone, accordion, tambourine and voices in a complex of traditional and modern Balkan music.
