Things have been going well for Patrick Pentz since he was loaned out to Bröndby IF in Denmark from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
Shortly following his arrival, the 26-year-old was able to establish himself as a regular goalkeeper. In his 15 appearances since then, his team has only suffered two defeats.
Pentz has also received a lot of praise for this; the renowned “Tipsbladet” recently described the transfer as a “very good move” by sports director Carsten V. Jensen. It is said that the ÖFB legionnaire has so far left “a very good impression” on those responsible.
Does the purchase option fail?
That would suggest an expansion of the commitment beyond the current loan season. But whether this will happen seems uncertain.
When asked regarding a permanent commitment, sports director Jensen told “Tipsbladet” that there was currently “no exchange” with Bayer Leverkusen in this regard.
As the medium reports, the purchase option is too big a hurdle for Bröndby. This is the equivalent of just under 2.5 million euros. But Jensen denied this.
