Patricia Bullrich says that the Aragua Train “has characteristics of terrorism”

Patricia Bullrich, Minister of Security of Argentina, said from Chile that the Aragua Train, criminal gang born in Venezuela and which has spread throughout the region in recent monthshas traits of terrorist groups.

“They don’t strike just any old way. The Tren de Aragua strikes with a procedure, with a matrix of operation, with a logic that always does exactly the same thing. They set up shop in a certain place. They come with a group that is generally Venezuelan nationals. They set up shop, they buy entire buildings, as happened in Peru. They all live in those buildings. So that no one knows, no one knows what conversation they might have. From there they plan ahead of time, without rushing, the strikes they are going to carry out. But they are not random strikes.”detailed Minister Bullrich.

His words were given during the celebration of the Enade security forum, which was attended by officials from the Chilean government and the former president of Colombia. Ivan Duke.

Bullrich gave as an example the murder of Venezuelan soldier Ronald Ojeda and the murder of Carabineros officer Emmanuel Sánchez.

“Behind this there is an organization with logic that provides him with passports, false identities, fraud, stolen passports, so that from there he can escape and arrive, surely once more, to Venezuela,” he estimated. “It is important to analyze whether it is an organization that is autonomous from the State or not autonomous from the State. I tend to think that it is not autonomous from the State.”.
