Theodorakis, Hatzidakis, Xarchakos, Kaldaras, Vamvakaris, Tsitsanis, Mitsakis, Moutsis, Panos, and other great composers gave him their creations and he took them off the air interpretatively, while thanks to him the poetry of Seferis, Elytis, Ritsos and Livaditis arrived in the most remote corners of Greece. He himself wrote over 200 songs, many of which he performed.
Today, Wednesday 31/07/2024, (at 21:30) a concert will take place at the Pamploponnisian Stadium of Patras, included in the circle of tributes of the International Festival to the great Greek performers,
Grigoris Bithikotsis, Vassilis Lekkas, Babis Tsertos, Gerasimos Andreatos, Costas Triantafyllidis, Stavroula Esambalidis will perform. The artistic editing and orchestrations are by Nikos Stratigos.
