The Mayor of Patreon, Kostas Peletidis, and the Deputy Mayor of Education and Administration, Katerina Simou, welcomed yesterday (Friday) at noon at the City Hall, the members of the Polyphonic Theatrical Workshop (juvenile department), who participated in the theatrical performance “The noses blew”, together with their parents, the performers of the play, the Director of the Theater Workshop Athina Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou and the Artistic Director of the Organization, Maestro Stavros Solomos.
The Polyphonic Theatrical Workshop, on the initiative of its Director and municipal councilor of the Municipality of Patreon, Athina Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou, organized and implemented – under the auspices of the Deputy Mayor of Education of the Municipality of Patreon – a social solidarity action with the performance “The noses broke” which traveled for 6 months to 47 kindergartens and primary schools of our Municipality, performing 37 performances in total attended by over 5,000 students. Through the action, the Social Grocery of the Municipality was significantly strengthened.
The members of the theater group, the actors of the performance, and also the parents of the children were given commemorative praises for the action they carried out during these 6 months in the Primary Education schools of the Municipality of Patreon.
The theater group consists of: Panagiotis Apostolou-Zisis, Vassiliki Aravantinou, Aelia Vassiliou, Iliana Verra, Nikolas Exarchos, Ioli Iordanidis, Anastasia Malagoniari, Stelios Malagoniaris, Marina Maratou, Philippos Rougalas, Melina Samioti, Vasiliki Siaterli, Evangelia Skouta, Marina Skouta, Stavros Solomos, Kalliroi Travlou.
The script is written by the author Anna Dendrinou, the teaching, adaptation, direction and coordination of the action was by Athina Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou, Theater Workshop assistant by Ioanna Xanthi and Dimitris Raptis in the making of masks.
The musicians participated: Panagiotis Athanasakopoulos (guitar), Teti Zerva (mandolin), Nikos Skeparnias (guitar), Christos Tsailakis (guitar).
