On the afternoon of Saturday, August 3, the curtain fell on the large and impressive anniversary exhibition of Olympic memorabilia – evidence “Olympic Nikos Andriakopoulos”, held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, in the imposing event hall of the new City Hall of Patras.

This particular exhibition will not be held in another city in Greece this year and that is why many traveled from different parts of the country to visit it.
The exhibition received laudatory comments from the multitude of people who visited it, including many children and young people, families, sports coaches, actors, sports fans, people of Science and Art, Deputy Mayors, Deputy Regional Governors and regional councillors.

The Mayor of Patreon, Kostas Peletidis, was shown around the exhibition on Friday, August 2 by the collector Pantelis Koutzanoulis, with whom he had a long conversation about the details of the exhibits.

The Mayor, impressed by the richness of the exhibits, said: “We inaugurated this amazing space with an amazing exhibition, which gave its visitors the opportunity to draw conclusions about the beauty of the Olympic Games and their ability to bring different peoples together, with different culture, but with a common element, that we are all people with the same rights, that we have nothing to divide and as brothers we must move forward in order to progress.
Especially in the time we live in, when even the existence of the planet is threatened by vested interests, the Olympic Games and in general Sports can and must defend the highest and universal ideal of the fellowship of peoples and World Peace.
We thank Pantelis Koutzanoulis for kindly offering us the opportunity to enjoy his unique collection.”

For his part, the Larisa collector Pantelis Koutzanoulis pointed out: “In Patras I experienced genuine hospitality and I leave richer in friends. I thank the Patrons who embraced the exhibition, the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the Mayor Kostas Peletidis, the Deputy Mayor Takis Petropoulos, the Region of Western Greece and especially the Deputy Governor Takis Antonopoulos and the people who worked hard for the exhibition Thodoros Argyrato, Dimitris Sougleris, Christos Sotiropoulos with the entire volunteer team of Pegasos Begoulakiou, Vangelis Foteinakis a volunteer friend from Athens, the people of the Municipality, Frosso Andriopoulou, Dimitri Gavo, Nancy Pavlopoulou and Maria Kyriakopoulou”.
