The creation of another park by the employees of the Municipality of Patras, at Paralia Patras (Cemetery) is progressing rapidly for the needs of the citizens, young and old, of the area.
Today the greenery was sown, while already for months, around 150 olive trees have been planted.
Afterwards, work will be done on shaping a square, playground, green spaces, installing exercise equipment, lighting and other elements, so that the new park will be a “hive” of recreation, play, sports and walks for young and old.
The works are carried out by the employees of the Green, Cleaning and Maintenance Departments of the Municipality of Patreon.
The Municipal Authority, steadfast in its announcements and in its program, continues the projects that upgrade the lives of the residents and beautify their daily lives.
“The entire coastal zone is changing its appearance. We continue our work and will grow the “courtyards” of our city. And this “courtyard” in Paralia, is added to the already large “courtyards” of South Park and Red Mill. Continuing in this way will complete our plan to build our city as we wish, with our poor means and the minimal money and workers we have, at the mercy of anti-people government policy”, emphasizes the Mayor of Patreon, Kostas Peletidis.
