On Saturday 6 July, in the Atrium of the Theater Royal, at 9:30 p.m., the concert of the Polyphonic Conservatory, a tribute to the great folk bard-creator, Vassilis Tsitsanis, with the general title “Vassilis Tsitsanis, 40 years later” .
The concert will be attended by an orchestra led by the professor of the School of Traditional Music, (class of popular instruments of the Conservatory), George Papageorgiou, who has edited the orchestrations of the concert, the professor of the School of Monodia (Class of Contemporary Song also of the Conservatory), Chrysa Pantazopoulou and with the general artistic supervision of the Administrative Director of the Conservatory, Efis Kavadias, in a program of the most beautiful songs of the Trikalin composer.
The teachers of the Conservatory, Giorgos Papageorgiou (bouzouki), Chrysa Pantazopoulou (singing), Albena Penkova (piano), Teti Zerva (mandolin), Christos Tsailakis (guitar) and Nikos Skeparnias (guitar) will also participate.
Students will participate in the orchestra:
Accordion: Yannis Milias, Bouzouki: Fotis Zervas – Panagiotis Mantzios – Vassilis Petroulis – Nikos Siaterlis.
Works by the composer will be performed by the students: Nadia Zerva, Ilias Maniatis, Ioanna Prokalamou, Paulina Stavrianaki, Konstantinos Stavropoulos, Theoni Tzamakou, Chrysa Fotopoulou and Maria Hadjikonstantoglou.
The entrance of the audience will be by invitations (limited number), already available, ONLY from the Secretariat of the Organization, 10-1 in the morning and 6-9 in the afternoon, with general admission: € 15.- per person.
In the concert area there will be tables, the closing of which will be done in ORDER OF PRIORITY, while those who wish, will be able to order food or drinks at their discretion and at their own cost (payment directly to the Royal officials).
