Until April 20th, the individual pebbles art exhibition of Selina Kritikou “Pebbles VI”, which opened its doors on March 26th, will be hosted at the Artika exhibition space (Riga Feraio 181 and Trion Navarchon).
This is the first time that a special art exhibition with pebbles is presented in Patras.
Pebbles, shells, shells, broken pieces of ceramics, all raw, unprocessed, sculpted only by waves and years, blend together in a magical union, wandering the mind and exhilarating the spirit.
Everyday stories, love stories, human stories, stories of love and loneliness that cause viewers to identify, be moved and reflect.
In the exhibition of Patras, works that have already been loved in the rest of Greece by Greeks and foreigners will be presented, but in addition the world will be able to enjoy some series of works for the first time, the continuation and development of this journey.
Selina Kritikou lives and creates in Rhodes. She has to her credit 5 individual exhibitions and participation in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her work ¨Fugi¨ was selected and published by the international art magazine “Artist talk magazine”. Her works are included in a luxurious book-album of contemporary visual artists.
“From the first moment I was enchanted by the life of the stone. That from simple pebbles people, relationships, whole stories are born. The works convey movement, emotion, vitality and every time I am fascinated by the fact that indeed, following all, stones have a soul… Selina Kritikou”
The exhibition is open during shop hours (Monday to Friday 10.00 to 14.00 and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 17.00 to 21.00, Saturday 11.00 to 17.00)
