The Region of Western Greece organizes at the Epikentro Theater on 13 and 14/11/2024 and time 21:15 on show called “Broken Phone” of Konstantinou Magniin directed by Miltos Nikas, with Vassilis Kokkaliswith free entry for the public.
A man who has lost his job walks aimlessly through the streets of the city and, to appear busy, constantly talks on his mobile phone, which is broken. Unable to bear his reality, the idea that he is a secret agent will soon be born in his mind, thus sparking the absurd comedy of his life.
As the author notes, The Broken Telephone is exactly what the title states. One damage that reveals all the others. Because our course is between what happens and what doesn’t happen, between what we would like and what we wouldn’t want and what doesn’t want us. A comic immersion in the absurdity and ourselves is the Broken Telephone, which makes you question how absurd coexistence itself is, the battle of everyday life, the need to respond to the needs that our social nature gives rise to, a need that undermines the our every move and it takes revenge on our psyche. And yet life is good.
The Deputy Regional Governor for Culture, Panagiotis Bramos, said: “The Region of Western Greece supports local artistic initiatives in practice and on a consistent basis, especially when it comes to original and inventive theatrical ventures such as “Broken Telephone”. Culture remains a priority for the Olympic Land and our goal is to expand our program throughout the year.”
