Patras – Agios Vasileios: Broken benches, grass, traffic, what does the president complain to “P”? of the Cultural Association

He blames the Municipal Community for complete indifference Agios Vasilios of Patras the Cultural Association of the village, the president of which with his letter to “Peloponnisos” speaks of “complete inactivity” for the last 8 months and calls for interventions to relieve the citizens.

The letter, which was sent on August 8 and to the DE of Rio, among others, states that while it exists to make decisions and do projects in the Community, instead there is an inexplicable inactivity. “Until when?” he wonders.

Vassilis Stamatopoulos

The president of the Cultural Association of Saint Basil Vassilis Stamatopoulos, speaking to “P” focused on specific problems that exist and not the slightest attempt has been made to solve them, by the Municipal Community. “We sent a letter because it doesn’t work anymore. There are many issues and not a single thing has been done all summer.”

The typical issues that concern us all are:

  • The bins, almost throughout the Community, are dirty and a source of contamination.
  • “Perivolakia” beach has been left to the formation of the winter tide and has not been cleaned.
  • The benches are broken and bathers cannot sit.
  • There are decisions about the Traffic on the beach road, but nothing has been done.

And as if all of the above was not enough, in many corners of the coastal area there are dry grasses, but mainly bulky objects, which are dangerous for fire and need to be cleaned.

“Mice are having a party in the reeds” is the indicative comment of V. Stamatopoulos in “P”.
