(PLO)- Patients can go on a spring trip, give gifts, clothes and calligraphy on the occasion of the opening of the spring flower street of Cho Ray Hospital.
On the morning of January 17, Cho Ray Hospital jubilantly opened the spring flower street right on the hospital’s premises before the Lunar New Year 2023 for doctors, medical staff, patients and relatives to travel.

Flower Street has the participation of 74 units from the centers, faculties and departments of the hospital. Hands-on doctors, doctors and medical staff of these units have designed 56 miniatures wrapped in the theme Xuan Nghia love.

On this occasion, the hospital held booths for patients to buy clothes for 0 dong, receive free calligraphy and give Tet gifts to difficult patients.

Holding two newly donated clothes, Ms. Le Thi Dung (60 years old) expressed her joy. She said that for seven years now, three times a week regularly, she has to take her daughter to this hospital for dialysis. This followingnoon, her mother and daughter took the car back to their hometown to celebrate Tet, and on schedule, they went to the hospital to continue dialysis.

“Today I was given clothes by the hospital, I am very happy. My daughter receives gifts from BV every year during Tet. My mother and I are very grateful to BV. Mrs. Van is a cancer patient and has been treated at Cho Ray Hospital for 5 months. On the 28th of this New Year, following taking medicine, she will return to Tien Giang to celebrate Tet.
“When Tet comes to Spring, when I see the BV organize such a flower street, I am very happy. This is a meaningful program, perhaps to help patients be happier, forget regarding the pain of illness. I just hope everyone will be healthier in the new year and have a lot of fun in life,” Van said.
With her colleagues taking pictures of the sparkling and radiant spring moments created by the Department of Resuscitation – Cardiac Surgery, Ms. Le Thi Yen Khoa (27 years old, nurse), said that everyone in the department has prepared for the event. This miniature is regarding a week. The patients even helped attach the paper apricot flowers to the branches.

“This year, I stayed at the hospital on duty on the 29th and 3rd of the Lunar New Year. I’ve been a nurse for 7 years, almost every year I stay on Tet duty, so I’m used to it. However, in those days, it is inevitable that you will feel heartbroken and miss your family a bit. But then I also comforted myself because I am doing a good job of taking care of patients, staying with them on Tet holidays, which is also a professional joy. I just hope that the patients will get better and better and be discharged soon,” said Khoa.
