News from Angola – Natanael Nahary, 36 years old, was admitted to the General Hospital of Luanda (HGL) on 9 October this year, at 3 pm, via transfer from a private hospital unit.
According to the press release that Notícias de Angola had access to today, according to the medical report, the patient lost consciousness on the 4th, which led to his being hospitalized initially in Viana, having been diagnosed with a case of Malaria. But it was at the clinic, in downtown Luanda, where it was proven that he was suffering from a stroke, on the Glasgow scale 6/15, already in serious condition.
In the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of Luanda, the patient was evaluated and submitted to an artificial ventilation machine, among other technical procedures. After two weeks of specialized monitoring, Natanael Nahary showed positive signs of recovery of speech and consciousness on the 24th, making a total of 20 days of coma.
The medical team ensures that the patient is out of danger. “The Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA) made Natanael Nahary physically weakened, which is why he is still with us, otherwise he would have already been discharged”, assured the medical group.
