The Emerald Dream is a powerful and verdant place, a source of life and hope, essential to the survival of Azeroth. It has been protected for centuries, evolving under the watchful eye of the Green Dragonflight. Throughout these centuries, Flight has defended itself against the assaults of the Old Gods, the Burning Legion, and other threats. With the Emerald Dream once again vulnerable to attacks from Fyrakka and her forces, the champions of Azeroth must come together to save it from destruction at all costs.
A special seed, planted by Tyrande, has given birth to a new World Tree and is on the verge of reaching Azeroth. Fyrakka and her forces, including her allies the Flame Druids, move beneath the branches of the World Tree, igniting the inhabitants of the Dream in their attempts to imbue the heart of the World Tree with fire, and thus use it as a conduit to pour eternal flames throughout Azeroth.
The Eye of Ysera sees everything
At the heart of the Emerald Dream is the Eye of Ysera, named after Ysera the Dreamer. It’s the seat of power of the Green Dragonflight, but also the stronghold from where the brood assumes its task: protecting Azeroth.
Guardians of the Dream
The Guardians of the Dream reside and protect, alongside the Green Dragonflight, the Emerald Dream. Their ranks include Guardians, dryads, druids and rune bears. Once in the Emerald Dream, seek out the Guardians of the Dream to improve your reputation: there is no shortage of opportunities.
Population and wildlife
Verdant flora flourishes, home to a wide variety of beings that thrive within the Emerald Dream, including:
The Guardians of the Grove : powerful defenders of the Emerald Dream. Children of Cenarius, they are responsible for protecting the Dream from all danger. They are imposing beings, capable of wielding the power of nature for devastating purposes.Les dryades : magnificent sylvan creatures, guardians of the Dream. They fiercely protect its natural beauty. Dryads are experts in the use of nature magic. They are often seen accompanied by animals such as wolves, bears and deer.The Selenians : nocturnal creatures who are in fact powerful druids renowned for their mastery of the moon and stars. Moonkin are often seen in the company of other druids and play a vital role in the defense of the Emerald Dream.The wild gods : powerful beings embodying nature and capable of incredible feats. The wild gods are often considered the protectors of the Dream and play an essential role in its balance.
