Patch 10.0.7: Rare monsters dedicated to professions! -World of Warcraft

Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 will be the opportunity to slaughter rare monsters in the Forbidden Borders on a loop. You were already doing it in the Dragon Islands, but it will be pushed a little further in these well-known places of the Drachtyrs. What you may not know yet is that several rare elites will need to be summoned using your professions.

There are no less than 29 rare monsters at Forbidden Borders. Yes, 29 while the area is relatively small. Some live in the open while others live in dark caves. The latter are invisible and only appear if you perform a specific maneuver using a trade.

It all starts with Merchant Hag’arth in Morqut Village. The NPC sells, in exchange for 10 Craft Tempers, new recipes that seem mysterious at first glance. These recipes are actually related to rare monsters. They are placed in a new section in your business interface: craft trinkets.

Let’s take the example of cooking, a secondary profession accessible to everyone. You can buy the recipe to create a Sparkling spice purse. To do this, you need a single ingredient, Tasteless Spices which randomly drop from monsters on surrounding islands.

Once the object is created, the game will indicate a specific area on your minimap (the icon is a circle with two swords crossing each other). All you have to do then is go there and figure out how to use the item to spawn the rare. In the case of the kitchen, you have to go to the inhabitant of Morqut in the center of the Forbidden Reaches and click on the Stew without spices which is next to her.

It is important to note that the item created is not bound to the character, so it can be sold on the Auction House, at least on the test realms.

This will immediately spawn the rare monster, in this case named Luttrak. It is soloable without worry, unlike the other rare ones on the island which are much stronger and are not soloable by everyone, far from it.

Once the monster is eliminated, here are the rewards possible:

  • craft tempering
  • Elementary overflow
  • Dragon Island Supplies
  • Of the equipment ilvl 385
  • Untapped Forbidden Knowledge (allowing equipment to be upgraded up to 395)
  • Probably keys to the vaults of Zskera
  • gray objects

All the manufacturing occupations are concerned. Just buy the recipe in order to summon the rare monster.

Moreover, the collection trades also have their dedicated rare monsters! When you mine, skin, or gather, you have a chance to find an item that can be used in a specific location to summon a rare monster.

Interesting no?
