Now that Raszageth’s defeat is assured, it’s time to answer some questions about the evoker dracthyr and their past within the Forbidden Reaches. This high-level experience adds new bosses and objectives, more storms, new loot, and more.
Welcome to Morqut Village on Morqut Islet
Every adventure in a new land has a starting point. Yours will start on Morqut Islet. Here you will find a multitude of merchants and quest givers willing to embark on your first adventures within the Forbidden Reaches.
Stay on the lookout for treasure and bonus objectives as you explore the mysteries of the Forbidden Reaches. Who knows what fascinating new items you’ll find there and who might reward you for finding them?
Faction Emissaries
Choose to aid the Dracaret Expedition, Iskaarian Roharts, Maruuk Centaurs, or Valdrakken Covenant each day to receive a 10% reputation boost with that faction. Emissaries will occasionally offer quests to gain more reputation and Elemental Overflow to spend at Emissary Merchants for new rewards including four new Dragonflight, Battle Pet Bosko, and Mount customizations Distinguished Bruffalon.

Zskera Vaults
The game has started, discover a fabulous treasure in the vaults of Zskera. Players will have the opportunity to enter a random treasure room to discover its puzzles, monsters and mysteries. Explore a Vault made unique to your character and available until the next weekly reset. Each week, you’ll also be able to start a new quest from the black dragon Voraxian, which will take you deep into a long-buried past.
Keys please
Guides Jeb and Tacha will help you start your Vault adventure and provide you with your first 6 Zskera Vault Keys. However, you will need to explore the Forbidden Reaches in depth in order to open other doors.
You will need a different key for each vault door. The keys are account-bound and can therefore be easily used by your other characters to allow you to continue your exploration of the vaults.
The onyx amulet and the primordial stones
When you first venture into the Vaults of Zskera, you will find a quest for an “unusual ring”. Bringing the ring to Researcher Imareth in Morqut will earn you the Onyx Amulet as a reward. Through Neltharion’s experiment, you can imbue the amulet with the power of the elements by crimping up to three Primordial Stones into it. These primordial stones can be found in the treasures hidden in the vaults. Each combination offers new and exciting synergies, allowing you to create effects that will aid you on your journeys through the Forbidden Reaches and beyond.

Primordial Stones can be sharded to upgrade your favorite stones at your local Jeweler. You can also use these shards to purchase newer stones from Researcher Imareth. While you can’t buy specific stones, they are broken down into families, allowing you to better target the ones you want.
Do not be afraid of losing the primordial stones you have set. It is possible to replace them with other stones without destroying them.
New Event: The Mega Storm
The consequences of Raszageth’s escape are still being felt around his prison. Primordial storms, made up of the various elements, continue to rage in the area. Adventurers who overcome these storms will receive improved storm gear. You’ll also accumulate elemental overflows as you encounter the mysteries and creatures of the Forbidden Reaches. Elemental Overflows can be exchanged for gear on Morqut Islet or from Mythressa in Valdrakken
New Dragon Races
Take to the skies and experience six new races across the Forbidden Reaches. Along the way, you’ll also gain access to new dragon-riding techniques. Prepare to face danger during these races: the sky is not yours alone.
New Pet Battles
Meet a pet trainer in the Forbidden Reaches to take on a new challenge and get new battle pets along the way.

No one knows what terrible adversaries you might encounter on your journeys into the Forbidden Reaches. Proceed with caution or you may find yourself face to face with some of the fearsome inhabitants of these lands.
